No. Most of our clients are not home during their cleaning appointment. As long as we have a safe and reliable way to access your home, our professionally trained, background-checked, insured, and bonded technicians can complete your service while you're away. If you'll be home, we kindly ask that you allow our technicians to work with minimal interruptions so they can clean as efficiently as possible. For first-time cleanings or appointments requiring special attention, you're welcome to be present at the beginning of the appointment to answer any questions or point out areas of concern. If additional services or extra time are needed beyond your scheduled appointment, our office will contact you for approval before proceeding whenever possible. Before our technicians leave, we encourage you to complete a walkthrough if you're home. This is the best opportunity to point out any areas that may need additional attention before the appointment is completed. Yes, we recommend tidying your home before your cleaning appointment. A ready-to-clean home is one where personal belongings, toys, clothing, paperwork, and other loose items have been put away so our technicians can focus on cleaning surfaces rather than organizing. If items are left out, we'll carefully clean around them whenever possible. However, areas blocked by personal belongings may be skipped, as we do not move or organize clients' possessions during a standard cleaning. If you need help with light tidying, we offer an optional Tidy-Up Service (subject to schedule availability). This service includes making beds, folding blankets, hanging towels, and neatly placing loose items in one designated area. It does not include professional organizing, sorting belongings, or deciding where items should be stored or discarded. For the best results, we recommend putting away loose items before we arrive.
